Life as Organic Growth “Míza do žil” (Sap into the Veins) is a visual campaign that debunks myths about bone marrow donation. Instead of sterile whites, blue tones, and hospital negativity, it embraces the organic metaphor of a tree. Bone marrow is envisioned here as human “sap”—the fundamental essence of life that we can pass on, allowing another “tree” to grow once again.
The dominant orange (symbolizing the fight against blood cancer) contrasted with deep green creates an energetic yet trustworthy environment. The tree illustrations are intentionally bold and raw, breaking away from the typical sleek medical brochures.
The typography, inspired by fashion magazines, elevates the topic from a clinical level into the realm of modern activism. The goal is to shift the conversation about donation so that it is no longer viewed as a "procedure," but as a conscious life attitude.
The campaign educates about modern, painless methods of donation. The visual shock of the "non-medical" design is intended to make the viewer pause, read the facts, and overcome the fear of anesthesia or pain—both of which are now a thing of the past.
